The work feels and imagines life in an environment that is in flux, time and the water element, where it dives inside. By imitating, stumbling, flowing, taking over, hiding and shapeshifting, life re-organises itself. Again and again.

Bio

Lau Rämö (b. 1989) is a Helsinki-based media artist. Their work often emerges from rethinking post-anthropocentric existence, engaging with play and participation in a diverse, multispecies world. Rämö holds a Master of Arts degree from Aalto University (2020) and has worked as an exhibiting artist, photographer, and filmmaker since 2015.
